Our editorial approach

Useful enough
to write with.

A guide should leave you with a clearer decision and something of your own on the page.

Original examples, explained choices.

Our teaching lyrics are original examples created for these lessons. They are not excerpts from released songs. We show revisions and explain their intended effect, rather than presenting taste as a universal score.

AI-assisted, with clear attribution.

The initial library was created with AI assistance and reviewed for consistency, original examples, functionality and unsupported claims by Codex. We do not claim that these pages have been reviewed by a human songwriting expert. We credit named contributors or specialist reviewers when they actually participate.

Creative advice is an invitation to test an idea in your own voice. Performance, accent and musical context can change the result. Tools describe their limitations where you use them.

What earns a place in the library.

Each new lesson needs a distinct writing task, useful original material and a practical next step. Our publishing checks cover overlap, links, structure, metadata and working exercises. A scheduled slot does not justify a thin page; content that fails review stays unpublished.

Sources, dates and corrections.

We cite sources when a factual claim depends on them and check product instructions against the available workflow. Publication dates reflect the first release; update dates change when the material changes. A date is not a claim of human review.

If an example is unclear, a count is wrong, or a workflow has changed, tell us what you found. Include the page address and the part that needs attention.

Your writing is your work.

Browser exercises and planning tools are useful without a subscription. Copy or download scratchpad work before leaving. Continuing into the main workspace does not automatically start generation or spend credits. The workspace explains the available plans and limits.
